The first 20 days of the 100 Day Project are now complete! 2019 is off and running and once again, its proving to be a fun way to dedicate time to making art every day. I had so much fun doing the 100 Day Project last year that I knew I wanted to join in again.
Last year I chose to play with watercolor, finding a word that represents each day. This year I am working with vintage photos from my husband’s family on mixed media backgrounds I made on my Gelli plate. I am enjoying the process of finding a little humor in the images and using different techniques on the little art pieces.
While working through boxes of his family photos, I discovered I had a pile of photos that we know are family members, but are unidentified, so I’m making up family history for a little fun way to take advantage of these photos. My Faux Family History is turning out to be quite unique! You can get more of the back story on this post.
So what kind of Faux Family History have we uncovered so far? Here’s the first 20 days of the 100 Day Project. Click on the images to enlarge or see them on my Instagram Page.
I hope you enjoy my little Faux Family History Creations. Be sure to follow me on Instagram or Facebook to catch each day’s little history.
