I’ve always had a calendar in the kitchen specifically to remember birthdays. This year I am using something prettier and more my style, a birthday rolodex box. The box is by Heidi Swapp, and the cards are made using the tabs die set.
This project can be simple, decorative, colorful, or black and white. For my birthday rolodex box, I stamped an arrow and the date in the tab on every card. Then, the cards showcase the person and the year of their birth, as well as some crafty details just to make the card fun. I have cards for annual holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, the date we adopted one of our children, and when we brought home our sweet dog Wesley. Fun days to remember!
This is an easy project to put together and makes a nice gift for someone in the family. Plus, the calendar is never out of date and adding cards is easy!
